Summary of the Fair Folk Oracle

The Fair Folk Oracle offers wisdom from ancient Ireland. In the deck we meet pivotal members of the Tuatha Dé Danann who emerge as Guardians, Oracles, and a Druid. They are also referred to as the Sidhe or Aos Si. The four magical treasures of the Sidhe also appear amongst the cards as special gifts wielding unique powers that support civilization and empower the querent. Irish Faeries arise as elementals and nature spirits, who continue to imbue the land with life affirming wonders. The Aos Si love colors, and this deck contains plant and star-lore as well as healing color-codes to invite magical seekers deeper into the mysteries. The Fair Folk Oracle can be combined with the Celtic Elemental Tarot using the “Cross of The Fair Folk” spread to bring healing light into a reading. For those interested in learning more about the Tuatha Dé Danann, there is also a suggested pilgrimage through sacred Ireland called Danu’s Imrama, which means ‘journey of the soul.’        

The Fair Folk Oracle includes a multitude of Irish folklore. The reader will meet deities such as Danu, the mother of the Tuatha Dé Danann, and her children who all have supernatural abilities. There is also Red Macha, a goddess who shapeshifts overtime into another Macha who rules as the first High King of Ireland. There are stories of the good Dagda, the romantic Aengus Og, and many more. There are also several nature spirits in the Faery cards including a Gnome who tends roots, dancing Undines, a Sylph, a lucky Leprechaun and a few flower spirits.
